Contest Guidelines
Terms and conditions for participation in the FRANZIS competition
1. The organizer of the competition is FRANZIS GmbH, Richard-Reitzner-Allee 2, 85540 Haar, email: service@franzis.de (hereinafter also referred to as “FRANZIS”).
2. Participation in the competition is by registering for the newsletter with a valid email address at FRANZIS.de. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries, e.g. by using multiple email addresses, are not permitted and will result in exclusion from the competition.
3. Persons aged 18 and over who are resident in Germany are eligible to participate. Employees of FRANZIS GmbH and other persons involved in the design and implementation of the competition are excluded from participation. Participation via third parties, such as competition agencies, is also excluded. FRANZIS will exclude from the competition any entries that are made automatically by competition robots or other software programs.
4. FRANZIS is giving away a Porsche 911 turbo engine kit, a Porsche 911 boxer engine kit, a Porsche Carrera racing engine kit, and three “Porsche 911 Carrera RS - Build your Legend” model car kits. The prize is not transferable to third parties and cannot be redeemed for cash. Only the winner themselves can receive the prize by mail. We will contact the winner by email (using the email address provided to FRANZIS when registering for the newsletter).
5. The competition starts on March 1, 2025, and ends at the end of May 31, 2025. FRANZIS will select the winners at random from all participants on June 4, 2025. FRANZIS will notify the winner by email after the winner has been determined. The winner must confirm receipt of the prize notification to FRANZIS immediately, but no later than 10 working days after receipt, by replying to this email. Otherwise, a replacement winner will be selected.
6. FRANZIS reserves the right to adjust, change, or cancel the competition at any time without giving reasons if circumstances so require.
7. Legal recourse is excluded.
8. In the event of a violation of these conditions of participation, FRANZIS reserves the right to exclude persons from the competition (even without giving reasons).
9. FRANZIS collects and processes the personal data (email address) provided in the context of the competition exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition and, if newsletter registration is part of the competition, also for sending free FRANZIS newsletters. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

Purpose and legal basis
Your personal data (last name, first name, address, email address) will be processed by FRANZIS for the purpose of conducting and processing the competition. The legal basis for the processing of your data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and the processing for the performance of a contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
Recipients of personal data
Your personal data will be transferred to the following recipients:

Web hosting provider: 23M GmbH
Shipping service providers: DHL, DPD
Internal departments at FRANZIS: Omnichannel, Marketing
We do not pass on your data to third parties, especially not for advertising purposes.
Storage period
Your personal data (shipping address) will be deleted 3 months after the end of the competition, provided that it is not subject to any legal obligations. Registration for the newsletter remains valid even after the competition until the participant unsubscribes or requests the deletion of their data.
Your rights
You have the right to obtain information from FRANZIS about the personal data concerned, as well as the right to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict its processing, to object to its processing, to revoke your consent, and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority. Obligation to provide data
Participation in the competition is voluntary. Failure to provide the data would mean that participation in the competition would not be possible.
